Application of Combing and Scraping Meridians Stimulation Combined with Cognitive Rehabilitation Training in Maintenance Peritoneal Dialysis Patients with Cognitive Impairment
Objective To explore the application value of combing and scraping meridians stimulation combined with cognitive rehabilitation training in cognitive dysfunction of maintenance peritoneal dialysis patients. Methods A total of 80 patients with maintenance peritoneal dialysis admitted to this hospital from January 2021 to December 2022 were selected as the research objects. All cases were confirmed to have different degrees of cognitive impairment. All of the patients were divided into a control group and an observation group with the method of random number table,40 cases in each group. The control group was given routine cognitive rehabilitation training, and the observation group applied combing and scraping meridians stimulation on the basis of the control group. The cognitive score, negative emotion score, quality of life and adverse events were compared between the two groups. Results After 2 months of intervention, the score of Addenbrooke's Cognitive Examination-Revised Scale in the observation group was(83.05±3.22)points,which was higher than(73.97±3.18)points in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The score of Health-Related Quality of Life Scale in the observation group was higher than that in the control group, and the score of Hospital Anxiety and Depression Scale was lower than that in the control group, and the differences between the two groups were statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse events between the two groups(P<0.05).Conclusion In addition to cognitive rehabilitation training, the use of combing and scraping meridians stimulation can help to improve cognitive function, eliminate negative emotions, and improve the quality of life of patients with cognitive impairment during peritoneal dialysis.
