Effect of Addition and Reduction of Chaihu Guizhi Ganjiang Decoction Combined with Acupoint Application on Symptom Improvement and Insomnia Severity Index of Insomnia Patients with Spleen Deficiency and Liver Heat Syndrome
Objective To analyze the effect of addition and reduction of Chaihu Guizhi Ganjiang decoction combined with acupoint application on symptom improvement and insomnia severity index of insomnia patients with spleen deficiency and liver heat syndrome.Methods A total of 80 patients with insomnia admitted to the hospital from August 2022 to August 2023 were selected as the research objects,and were divided into a control group and an observation group according to random number table method,with 40 cases in each group.The control group was treated with routine treatment,and the observation group was treated with addition and reduction of Chaihu Guizhi Ganjiang decoction combined with acupoint application.The sleep quality of the two groups was compared.Results After treatment,the scores of Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index,sleep belief and attitude,Hamilton Depression Scale and Hamilton Anxiety Scale in the observation group were lower than those in the control group,and the scores of insomnia Severity Index and Athens Insomnia Scale were higher than those in the control group,the differences between groups were statistically significant(P＜0.05).Conclusion The combination of addition and reduction of Chaihu Guizhi Ganjiang Tang and acupoint application can improve the sleep quality and alleviate insomnia symptoms in insomnia patients with spleen deficiency and liver heat syndrome.
