Role of Rehabilitation Training in Improving Exercise Endurance and Preventing Cardiovascular Adverse Events in STEMI Patients Undergoing Emergency PCI
Objective To analyze the effect of rehabilitation training on improving exercise endurance and preventing cardiovascular adverse events in patients with ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction(STEMI)undergoing emergency percutaneous coronary intervention(PCI).Methods A total of 100 cases of STEMI emergency PCI patients admitted to Beijing Fengtai Rehabilitation Hospital from January 2021 to November 2023 were selected as the study objects,and were divided into a control group and an observation group by random number table method,with 50 cases in each group.The control group received conventional intervention,and the observation group received rehabilitation training on this basis.The cardiac function,cardiovascular adverse events,exercise endurance and blood lipid levels were compared between the two groups.Results After intervention,the levels of homocysteine,plasma brain natriuretic peptide in the observation group were lower than those in the control group,the left ventricular end-diastolic diameter in the observation group was shorter than that of control group,and the left ventricular ejection fraction was higher than that in the control group,the differences between the groups were statistically significant(P<0.05).The incidence of cardiovascular adverse events in the observation group was 2.00%,lower than 20.00%in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After intervention,the 6-min walking distance and exercise duration of the observation group were longer than those of the control group,and the peak power,peak oxygen uptake and anaerobic threshold were higher than those of the control group,the differences between the groups were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The application of rehabilitation training in STEMI patients undergoing emergency PCI has significant effects,which can effectively improve their heart function,enhance their exercise endurance and reduce the incidence of cardiovascular adverse events,and is worthy of clinical promotion.
