Clinical Efficacy of Ambroxol Combined with Levofloxacin in the Treatment of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease Complicated with Pulmonary Infection and Its Impact on Lung Function in Patients
Objective To analyze the effect of ambroxol combined with levofloxacin in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD)complicated with pulmonary infection. Methods A total of 80 patients with COPD complicated with pulmonary infection admitted to Jinan Third People's Hospital from September 2018 to August 2023 were selected as the research objects, and were divided into a control group and an observation group by random number table method, with 40 cases in each group. The control group was treated with levofloxacin hydrochloride injection, and the observation group was treated with ambroxol hydrochloride injection on the basis of this. The clinical efficacy, lung function, levels of inflammatory factors and occurrence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results The total effective rate of the observation group was 95.00%,higher than 80.00%of the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment, the forced vital capacity and forced expiratory volume in one second in the observation group were greater than those in the control group, and the differences between the groups were statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment, the levels of C-reactive protein, procalcitonin and white blood cells in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, and the differences between the groups were statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion Ambroxol combined with levofloxacin in patients with COPD complicated with pulmonary infection can improve clinical efficacy, improve lung function, relieve inflammation, and have good safety.
