Observation on the Effectiveness of Multidisciplinary Collaboration Model in Treating Patients with Severe Chest Trauma
Objective To explore the application effect of multidisciplinary collaboration model in the treatment of patients with severe chest trauma. Methods Retrospective analysis of data on 62 patients with severe chest trauma admitted to the Qiandongnan Miao and Dong Autonomous Prefecture People's Hospital from October 2021 to October 2023,and divided into a control group and an observation group according to different intervention methods. The control group(n=30)received routine intervention, while the observation group(n=32)received multidisciplinary collaborative mode intervention.Compare two groups of clinical indicators, complications, mortality rate, and family satisfaction. Results Comparison of the retention time and mortality rate of thoracic catheters between two groups, there were no statistically significant differences between groups(P>0.05).The start time of surgery in the observation group after admission was(1.26±0.24)h,the monitoring time in the intensive care unit was(6.31±0.59)h,and the hospitalization time was(16.67±1.21)d,all of which were shorter than the control group's(2.11±0.35)h,(8.83±1.27)h,and(21.82±1.59)d,the postoperative chest drainage volume was(1 078.51±21.06)mL,which was lower than the control group's(1 159.42±26.75)mL,the differences between groups were statistically significant(P<0.05).The incidence of complications in the observation group was 3.13%,which was lower than the control group's 23.33%,family satisfaction was 93.75%,which was higher than the control group's 70.00%,the differences between groups were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The application of multidisc-iplinary collaboration model in the treatment of severe chest trauma patients can improve relevant clinical indicators, reduce complications, and increase family satisfaction, which is worthy of clinical promotion.
