Clinical Effect of Acarbose Combined with Premixed Insulin on Type 2 Diabetes
Objective To investigate the therapeutic effect of acarbose combined with premixed insulin in patients with type 2 diabetes. Methods A total of 92 patients with type 2 diabetes admitted to the Hongqi Hospital affiliated to Mudanjiang Medical College from December 2022 to September 2023 were selected as the research objects and divided into a control group and an observation group according to the random number table, with 46 cases in each group. The control group was treated with acarbose, while the observation group was treated with premixed insulin.Compare the clinical efficacy, blood glucose indicators, islet function, and incidence of adverse reactions between two groups. Results The total effective rate of the observation group was 95.65%,which was higher than the control group's 80.43%,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment, the fasting blood glucose(6.87±1.21)mmol/L,2-hour postprandial blood glucose(8.05±1.86)mmol/L,glycated hemoglobin(6.04±0.67)%,and insulin resistance index(1.12±0.23)in the observation group were all lower than(7.95±1.02)mmol/L,(9.79±1.43)mmol/L,(7.31±0.92)%,and(1.65±0.34)in the control group, and the pancreatic beta cell function index(45.20±5.94)was higher than(38.45±5.02)in the control group, and the differences between the groups were statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion Acarbose combined with premixed insulin can treat type 2 diabetes and improve clinical efficacy, improve blood glucose indicators, and promote the recovery of islet function, with high safety.
