Effect of Calcium Dobesilate Assisted 532 nm Fundus Laser on Macular Thickness and Retinal Neovascularization Fluorescein Leakage Area in Patients with Diabetes Retinopathy
Objective To investigate the effect of calcium dobesilate assisted 532 nm fundus laser on patients with diabetes retinopathy(DR).Methods A total of 150 DR patients who received outpatient and inpatient treatment in our hospital from May 2020 to May 2023 were selected as the study subjects, they were randomly divided into a control group and an observation group, with 75 patients in each group, using a random number table method. The control group received 532 nm fundus laser treatment, while the observation group received additional calcium hydroxybenzenesulfonate.Compare the visual acuity level, retinal neovascularization fluorescein leakage area, macular thickness, quality of life, and complications between two groups. Results After treatment, the observation group had a smaller retinal neovascularization fluorescein leakage area(2.78±0.55)mm2 compared to the control group,a thinner macular thickness(305.12±38.46)μm,a higher visual acuity level(0.75±0.21),and a higher environmental score(79.88±6.42)points,psychological score(80.66±6.97)points,social relationship score(82.13±6.73)points,and physiological score(79.84±6.63)points in the World Health Organization Quality of Life-BREF Scale, and the differences between the groups were statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in the incidence of complications between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion Calcium hydroxybenzenesulfonate assisted 532 nm fundus laser treatment can significantly reduce macular thickness, decrease leakage area, help improve vision, and has high safety.
