Analysis of the Therapeutic Effect of Mifepristone Combined with Gongliuxiao Capsules on Uterine Fibroids
Objective Explore the effect of combining mifepristone(MFP)with Gongliuxiao capsules in the treatment of uterine fibroids(UFs).Methods Ninety-eight UF patients admitted to our hospital from August 2022 to July 2023 were selected as the research subjects,and were divided into a control group and a research group using a random number table method,with 49 cases in each group.The control group received MFP treatment,while the research group received combined treatment with Gongliuxiao capsules on the basis of the control group.Compare the clinical efficacy,tumor volume,sex hormone levels,and adverse reactions between two groups of patients.Results The total effective rate of the research group was higher than that of the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).After 12 weeks of treatment,the tumor volume in the research group was smaller than that in the control group,and the levels of luteinizing hormone,follicle stimulating hormone,estradiol,and progesterone were all lower than those in the control group,the differences between groups were statistically significant(P＜0.05).Comparison of incidence rates of adverse reactions between two groups,the difference was not statistically significant(P＞0.05).Conclusion The efficacy of MFP combined with Gongliuxiao capsules in the treatment of UFs is reliable,it can reduce tumor volume,regulate sex hormone levels,and has high safety.
