Impact of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine Nursing Based on the Concept of Fast Track Surgery on Wound Healing in Patients Undergoing High Complexity Anal Fistula Surgery
Objective Exploring the impact of integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine nursing based on the concept of fast track surgery(FTS)on wound healing in patients undergoing high complexity anal fistula surgery. Methods Eighty-six patients with high complexity anal fistula surgery admitted to our hospital from May 2022 to May 2023 were selected as the research subjects, according to the random number table method, they were divided into a control group and an observation group, with 43 cases in each group. The control group received routine nursing interventions, while the observation group received integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine nursing interventions based on the FTS concept.Compare the pain level, comfort level, length of hospital stay, wound healing time, quality of life, and nursing satisfaction between two groups. Results On postoperative days 1,3,and 5,the Visual Analogue Scale scores for pain in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, the differences between groups were statistically significant(P<0.05).The Kolcaba General Comfort Questionnaire score of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, and the hospitalization time and wound healing time were shorter than those of the control group, the differences between groups were statistically significant(P<0.05).Three months after surgery, the Cleveland Global Quality of Life scores in all dimensions of the observation group were higher than those of the control group, the differences between groups were statistically significant(P<0.05).The nursing satisfaction of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion For patients undergoing high complexity anal fistula surgery, the combination of traditional Chinese and Western medicine nursing based on the FTS concept can not only effectively reduce their pain level and improve comfort, but also shorten hospitalization time and wound healing time, improve their quality of life and nursing satisfaction.
