Application of Buccal Acupuncture Combined with Cervical Functional Rehabilitation Training in Patients with Nerve Root Type Cervical Spondylosis
Objective To investigate the effect of buccal acupuncture combined with cervical functional rehabilitation training in patients with nerve root type cervical spondylosis.Methods Seventy patients with nerve root type cervical spondylosis treated in Jingjiang Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from May 2022 to December 2023 were selected as the research objects,and were divided into a control group and a research group by random number table method,with 35 cases in each group.The control group received functional rehabilitation training of cervical vertebra,and the research group combined with buccal acupuncture treatment on the basis of the control group.The clinical efficacy,cervical physiological curvature and pain degree,cervical joint function recovery and adverse events were compared between the two groups.Results The total effective rate of the research group was 94.29%,which was higher than 68.57%of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment,Borden's measurement value in the research group was(7.36±1.52)mm,which was higher than(5.28±1.14)mm in the control group,pain rating index score was(2.92±0.75)points,which was lower than(4.78±1.14)points in the control group,the differences between the groups were statistically significant(P<0.05);the scores of life and work ability,symptoms,hand function and physical signs of the research group were(2.57±0.38)points,(7.24±1.36)points,(-0.78±0.15)points and(6.28±1.75)points,respectively,which were higher than(2.11±0.29)points,(6.13±1.25)points,(-1.36±0.24)points,(5.19±1.34)points in the control group,and the differences between the groups were statistically significant(P<0.05).The incidence of adverse events in the research group was 5.71%,which was lower than 22.86%in the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Buccal acupuncture combined with cervical functional rehabilitation for nerve root type cervical spondylosis can improve curative effect,improve clinical symptoms and cervical function,and reduce the occurrence of adverse events.
