Objective To explore the effect of Zhu Lian acupuncture combined with joint mobilization on shoulder joint function and pain degree in patients with shoulder periarthritis.Methods A total of 102 patients with periarthritis of shoulder treated in Nanhai Economic Development Zone People's Hospital of Foshan City from January 2021 to December 2023 were selected as the research objects,and were divided into a control group and an observation group by random number table method,with 51 cases in each group.The control group was treated with joint mobilization,and the observation group was combined with Zhu Lian acupuncture treatment on the basis of the control group.Both groups were treated for 3 weeks continuously.The clinical effect,shoulder motion,shoulder function and pain degree of the two groups were compared.Results The total effective rate of the observation group was 98.04%,which was higher than 84.31%of the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Before treatment,there was no significant difference in shoulder joint motion between the two groups(P＞0.05);after treatment,the activities of anterior flexion,posterior extension,abduction and external rotation in the observation group were higher than those in the control group,and the differences between the groups were statistically significant(P<0.05).Before treatment,there was no significant difference in shoulder joint function between the two groups(P＞0.05);after treatment,the Constant-Murley Shoulder joint function score in the observation group was higher than that in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Before treatment,there was no significant difference in pain degree between the two groups(P＞0.05);after treatment,the pain Visual Analogue Scale score in the observation group was(1.35±0.51)points,which was lower than(3.01±1.01)points of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Zhu Lian acupuncture combined with joint mobilization in the treatment of shoulder periarthritis patients can improve clinical efficacy,improve joint function,joint motion,and reduce the degree of pain.
