Clinical Observation of Xiaoer Resuqing Granule Combined with Budesonide in the Treatment of Children with Acute Upper Respiratory Tract Infection
Objective To investigate the clinical effect of Xiaoer Resuqing Granule combined with budesonide in the treatment of children with acute upper respiratory tract infection.Methods A total of 104 children with acute upper respiratory tract infection admitted to Jining City Yanzhou District Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from April 2021 to December 2022 were selected as the research objects,and were divided into a control group and an observation group according to random number table method,with 52 cases in each group.The control group was treated with budesonide,and the observation group was treated with Xiaoer Resuqing granule on the basis of the control group.Clinical effect,symptom remission time,inflammatory factor index and occurrence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups.Results The total effective rate of treatment in the observation group was 96.15%,which was higher than 84.62%in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment,fever,pulmonary rale,cough and sore throat disappeared in observation group less than control group,serum interleukin-8,serum interleukin-6,C-reactive protein and tumor necrosis factor levels were lower than those in the control group,and the differences between the groups were statistically significant(P<0.05).The incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups was compared,and the difference was no statistically significant(P＞0.05).Conclusion Xiaoer Resuqing Granule combined with budesonide is effective in the treatment of children with acute upper respiratory tract infection,can effectively promote the alleviation of clinical symptoms,reduce the level of serum inflammatory factors in children,and has a good safety.
