Effect of Traditional Chinese Medicine Emotional Nursing Combined with Traditional Chinese Medicine Fumigation on Negative Emotions and Symptom Scores in Patients with Chronic Pelvic Inflammatory Disease
Objective To explore the effect of traditional Chinese medicine emotional nursing combined with traditional Chinese medicine fumigation on negative emotions and symptom scores in patients with chronic pelvic inflammatory disease.Methods A total of 76 patients with chronic pelvic inflammatory disease admitted to Tai'an Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital from June 2021 to June 2023 were selected as the research subjects,divided into a control group and an observation group using a random number table method,with 38 cases in each group.The control group received routine care,while the observation group received a combination of traditional Chinese medicine emotional care and traditional Chinese medicine fumigation,with each group receiving one month of care.Compare negative emotions,symptom scores,quality of life,and nursing satisfaction between two groups.Results Before nursing,comparison of negative emotions,symptom scores,and quality of life between two groups,there were no statistically significant differences between the two groups(P＞0.05).After nursing,the Self Rating Depression Scale and Self Rating Anxiety Scale scores of the observation group were lower than those of the control group,the differences between the groups were statistically significant(P<0.05);the symptom score of the observation group was lower than that of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);the scores of all dimensions in the Generic Quality of Life Inventory-74 in the observation group were higher than those of the control group,the differences between the groups were statistically significant(P<0.05).The nursing satisfaction of the observation group was 94.74%,which was higher than 78.95%of the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Traditional Chinese medicine emotional nursing combined with traditional Chinese medicine fumigation can alleviate negative emotions,lower symptom scores,and improve quality of life in patients with chronic pelvic inflammatory disease.
