Effect of Low Frequency Pulse Electrotherapy Combined with Rehabilitation Training on Neurological Function and Limb Motor Function in Stroke Patients with Hemiplegia
Objective To explore the application effect of low frequency pulse electrotherapy combined with rehabilitation training in stroke patients with hemiplegia. Methods Ninety-eight patients with stroke hemiplegia admitted to Jiangyin People's Hospital from August 2021 to October 2023 were selected as the research objects, and were divided into a control group and an observation group according to random number table method, with 49 cases in each group. The control group was treated with rehabilitation training, and the observation group was treated with low frequency pulse electrotherapy on the basis of the control group.Neurological function,self-care ability, limb motor function and quality of life were compared between the two groups. Results Before intervention, there were no significant differences in neurological function,self-care ability, limb motor function and quality of life between the two groups(P>0.05);after intervention, the National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale score of the observation group was(8.23±1.02)points,which was lower than(10.32±1.14)points of the control group, and the Modified Bathel Index score was(74.37±5.85)points,which was higher than(65.55±6.63)points of the control group, the upper limb function score and lower limb function score of Fugl-Meyer motor function rating scale were(42.67±3.94)points and(25.67±2.83)points,both were higher than(35.25±3.82)points and(20.75±2.65)points of the control group, the score of the stroke impact scale was(17.63±2.12)points,strength was(13.35±1.69)points,mobility was(34.48±1.69)points,communication was(23.86±1.45)points and emotion was(36.13±1.32)points,the daily living ability score was(37.03±2.52)points,memory and thinking score was(25.12±2.52)points,and participation score was(28.14±1.45)points,they were higher than(14.15±2.34)points,(10.14±1.95)points,(32.19±2.45)points,(19.77±2.68)points,(33.33±1.54)points,(32.95±2.80)points,(20.42±2.24)points,(24.94±2.12)points in the control group.the differences between groups were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Low frequency pulse electrotherapy combined with rehabilitation training can reduce the neurological dysfunction of stroke patients with hemiplegia, improve self-care ability and limb motor function, and enhance the quality of life.
