Comparison of the Efficacy and Safety of Bridging Therapy and Direct Endovascular Therapy for Acute Large Vessel Occlusive Stroke
Objective To evaluate the efficacy and safety of bridging therapy and direct endovascular therapy in acute large vascular occlusive stroke(ALVOS).Methods The clinical data of sixty-two patients with ALVOS admitted to Hulun Buir People's Hospital from January 2022 to December 2023 were retrospectively analyzed.31 cases receiving bridge therapy were set as control group, and 31 cases receiving direct endovascular therapy were set as observation group. The clinical efficacy, neurological function, prognosis, cerebral blood flow and safety of the two groups were compared. Results There was no significant difference in the total effective rate between the two groups(P>0.05).After treatment, the scores of the National Institute of Health stroke scale and the modified Rankin scale in the two groups were lower than before treatment, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05),but there were no statistically significant differences in the scores between the two groups(P>0.05);the mean blood flow velocity,end-diastolic flow velocity and peak flow velocity of middle cerebral artery between the two groups were faster than before treatment, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05),but there were no statistically significant differences in various indicators between the two groups(P>0.05).There was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion The efficacy of bridge therapy is comparable to that of direct endovascular therapy in the treatment of ALVOS,both of which can accelerate the recovery of neurological function and improve the prognosis of patients, and both have good safety.
