Effect of Proprioceptive Strengthening Training Combined with CPM Rehabilitation Exercise on Pain Degree and Knee Function of Patients after Total Knee Arthroplasty
Objective To explore the effect of proprioceptive strengthening training combined with continues passive motion(CPM)rehabilitation exercise on pain degree and knee function of patients after total knee arthroplasty. Methods Eighty patients with total knee arthroplasty treated in Suiyang County People's Hospital of Zunyi City,Guizhou Province from May 2020 to May 2023 were selected as the research objects, and were divided into a control group and an observation group according to random number table method, with 40 cases in each group. The control group received proprioceptive strengthening training, and the observation group received proprioceptive strengthening training combined with CPM rehabilitation exercise. The pain degree, knee function, daily living ability and complications were compared between the two groups. Results After intervention, the pain Visual Analogue Scale score of the observation group was(2.15±0.24)points,which was lower than(3.48±0.47)points of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);the Hospital for Special Surgery knee dysfunction score,Berg balance scale score in the observation group were(77.35±6.61)points,(49.08±3.11)points and, respectively, which were higher than(62.17±5.46)points,(36.37±3.35)points in the control group, the knee motion was(105.54±8.51)°,which was greater than(91.28±8.75)°in the control group, and the differences between the groups were statistically significant(P<0.05);the activities of daily living score of the observation group was(83.74±4.53)points,which was higher than(72.30±4.62)points of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The incidence of complications in the observation group was 5.00%,which was lower than 20.00%in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Proprioceptive strengthening training combined with CPM rehabilitation exercise can alleviate the pain of patients after total knee arthroplasty, promote the recovery of knee function, improve patients'ability of daily living, and reduce the risk of postoperative complications.
