Effects of Respiratory Trainer Combined with Early Ambulation Plan on Postoperative Recovery and Lung Function in Patients with Multiple Rib Fractures
Objective To investigate the effect of respiratory trainer combined with early ambulation plan on patients with multiple rib fracture after surgery. Methods A total of 90 patients after multiple rib fracture surgery admitted to Liaocheng Dongchangfu People's Hospital from November 2020 to April 2023 were selected as the research objects, and were divided into a control group and an observation group according to random number table method, with 45 cases in each group. The control group was treated with routine intervention, and the observation group was treated with respiratory trainer combined with early ambulation plan. The postoperative recovery indexes, lung function and quality of life were compared between the two groups. Results The drainage tube removal time and hospitalization time in the observation group were shorter than those in the control group, and the postoperative drainage volume was less than that in the control group, the differences between the groups were statistically significant(P<0.05).After intervention, the forced vital capacity and forced expiratory volume in one second in the observation group were(3.22±0.41)L and(2.24±0.31)L,respectively,which were higher than(2.97±0.36)L and(2.05±0.22)L in the control group, and the differences between the groups were statistically significant(P<0.05);the scores of generic quality of life inventory-74 in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, and the differences between the groups were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The intervention effect of respiratory training combined with early ambulation plan in patients after multiple rib fracture surgery is significant, which can improve lung function, accelerate postoperative recovery and improve quality of life.
