Impact of Immediate Stage Ⅰ Breast Reconstruction with Latissimus Dorsi Myocutaneous Flap after Modified Radical Mastectomy for Breast Cancer on Perioperative Indicators and Quality of Life of Breast Cancer Patients
Objective Analyze the impact of immediate stage Ⅰ breast reconstruction with latissimus dorsi myocutaneous flap after modified radical mastectomy for breast cancer on perioperative indicators and quality of life of breast cancer patients. Methods A retrospective analysis was conducted on the clinical data of 140 breast cancer patients who received modified radical mastectomy in Baiyin First People's Hospital of Gansu Province and Third People's Hospital of Gansu Province from March 2021 to October 2023.According to different surgical methods, they were divided into a control group and an experimental group, with 70 cases in each group.Patients in the control group received modified radical mastectomy for breast cancer treatment.Patients in the experimental group received stage Ⅰ breast reconstruction with latissimus dorsi myocutaneous flap on the basis of the control group. The perioperative indicators, occurrence of complications, quality of life, stress response, and anxiety and depression were compared between the two groups. Results Before surgery, the quality of life, stress response, and anxiety and depression were compared between the two groups, and the differences between the groups were no statistically significant(P>0.05);the start time of adjuvant chemotherapy, postoperative drainage time and complication rate were compared between the two groups, and the differences between the groups were no statistically significant(P>0.05);in the experimental group, the intraoperative blood loss was more than that in the control group, and the operation time was longer than that in the control group, and the differences between the groups were statistically significant(P<0.05);six months after surgery, the scores of functional status, physiological status, emotional status, social and family status, and additional attention in the Functional Assessment of Cancer Therapy-Breast in the experimental group were all higher than those in the control group, and the differences between the groups were statistically significant(P<0.05);one day after surgery, the level of superoxide dismutase in the experimental group was higher than that in the control group, and the level of cortisol was lower than that in the control group, and the differences between the groups were statistically significant(P<0.05);one day after surgery, the scores of the Hamilton Anxiety Scale and the Hamilton Depression Scale in the experimental group were(10.36±2.14)points and(10.95±2.39)points,respectively,which were lower than(15.42±3.51)points and(15.64±3.92)points in the control group, and the differences between the groups were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Immediate stage Ⅰ breast reconstruction with latissimus dorsi myocutaneous flap after modified radical mastectomy for breast cancer will increase the intraoperative blood loss and operation time of patients, can improve the quality of life and stress response of patients, and reduce their anxiety and depression.
