Analysis of the Effect of Hemoperfusion Combined with Hemodialysis on Improving Skin pruritus in Patients with Uremia Complicated with Intractable Skin Pruritus
Objective To investigate the effect of hemoperfusion(HP)combined with hemodialysis(HD)on improving skin pruritus in patients with uremia complicated with intractable skin pruritus.Methods Sixty patients with uremia complicated with intractable skin pruritus admitted to Qiannan People's Hospital from October 2023 to January 2024 were selected as the research objects.According to random number table method,the subjects were divided into a control group and an observation group,with 30 cases each.Control group was treated with HD,observation group was treated with HP combined with HD.The clinical efficacy,skin pruritus,renal function,calcium and phosphorus metabolism,hormone levels and complications were compared between the two groups.Results The total effective rate of the observation group was 93.33%,which was higher than 73.33%of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment,the symptom and sign scores of 14 items of uremic itch scale in the observation group were(8.13±1.54)points,sleep score was(3.96±1.10)points,and social psychological score was(8.35±1.32)points,all of which were lower than those of the control group,and the differences between groups were statistically significant(P<0.05);serum creatinine level was(584.16±1.68)μmol/L,urea nitrogen level was(16.87±0.54)nmol/L,β2-microglobulin level was(13.52±3.04)mg/L,and blood phosphorus level was(1.86±0.25)mmol/L,the serum calcium level was(1.78±0.31)mmol/L,and the parathyroid hormone level was(228.63±54.62)ng/L,which were lower than those of the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the incidence of complications between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion uremia complicated with intractable skin pruritus combined with HD treatment in UP patients has a significant effect,which can effectively improve skin pruritus symptoms and renal function,reduce parathyroid hormone levels,correct calcium and phosphorus metabolism disorders,and is relatively safe.
