Impact of Partner Guided Companionship Led by Midwives Combined with Free Position Midwifery on the Delivery Process and Outcome of Full-Term Primiparous Women
Objective To explore the impact of partner guided companionship led by midwives combined with free position midwifery on the delivery process and outcome of full-term primiparous women.Methods A total of 138 primiparous women admitted to Bijie Hospital,Zhejiang Provincial People's Hospital from October 2022 to October 2023 were selected as the research subjects,according to the random number table method,they were divided into a control group and an observation group,with 69 cases in each group.The control group received routine midwifery intervention,while the observation group received partner guided companionship led by midwives combined with free position midwifery.Compare the duration of labor,delivery pain,anxiety,and delivery outcomes between two groups.Results The first,second,and third stages of labor in the observation group were shorter than those in the control group,the differences between the groups were statistically significant(P<0.05);and the pain Visual Analogue Scale and Visual Analog Scale for Anxiety scores of the observation group were(5.11±1.01)points and(4.41±1.12)points,which were lower than(7.98±1.23)points and(7.21±2.25)points in the control group,the differences between the groups were statistically significant(P<0.05);the amount of bleeding 2 hours postpartum in the observation group was less than that in the control group,and the rates of Apgar score≤7,perineal lateral incision,and perineal laceration in newborns were lower than those in the control group,the differences between the groups were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The partner guided companionship led by midwives combined with free position midwifery can effectively shorten the delivery process of full-term primiparous women,eliminate their anxiety,and alleviate delivery pain,resulting in improved delivery outcomes.
