Clinical Study of Chaihu and Keel Oyster Decoction Combined with Repeated Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation in the Treatment of Post-Stroke Depression Patients
Objective To investigate the clinical effect of chaihu and keel oyster decoction combined with repeated transcranial magnetic stimulation(rTMS)in the treatment of post-stroke depression patients. Methods A total of 82 patients with post-stroke depression admitted to Ganzhou People's Hospital from July 2022 to March 2024 were selected as the research objects. The subjects were divided into a control group and a treatment group according to random number table method, with 41 cases in each group. The control group was treated with repeated transcranial magnetic stimulation, and the treatment group was treated with chaihu and keel oyster decoction combined with repeated transcranial magnetic stimulation. The clinical efficacy,TCM symptom score, depressive mood, serological index and occurrence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results After treatment, the total effective rate of the treatment group was 90.24%,which was higher than 73.17%of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After 4 weeks of treatment,TCM symptom scores in both groups were lower than those before treatment, and the treatment group were lower than those in the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After 1,2 and 4 weeks of treatment, the Hamilton Depression Scale scores of both groups were lower than those before treatment, and the treatment group were lower than those in the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After 4 weeks of treatment, the serum levels of neuropeptide Y and 5-hydroxytryptamine in both groups were higher than those before treatment, and the serum levels of substance P in both groups were lower than those before treatment, and the serum levels in the treatment group was lower than that in the control group, the differences were statistical significance(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion Chaihu and keel oyster decoction combined with repeated transcranial magnetic stimulation has a definite effect in the treatment of post-stroke depression patients, which can improve depressive mood, increase serum neuropeptide Y and 5-hydroxytryptamine content, and reduce serum substance P level.
