Observation on the Clinical Efficacy of Acupoint Acupuncture Therapy Combined with Pelvic Floor Muscle Function Training in Patients with Postpartum Pelvic Floor Muscle Dysfunction
Objective Analysis of the clinical efficacy of acupoint acupuncture therapy combined with pelvic floor muscle function training in patients with postpartum pelvic floor muscle dysfunction. Methods One hundred and sixty-eight patients with postpartum pelvic floor muscle dysfunction who were admitted to Qinghai Red Cross Hospital from June 2022 to January 2024 were selected as the research objects. They were divided into a control group(n=83)and an observation group(n=85)according to the random envelope method. The control group was treated with pelvic floor muscle function training, while the observation group was treated with acupoint acupuncture therapy on the basis of the treatment of the control group. The clinical efficacy, pelvic floor muscle function, pelvic floor mouscle dysfunction status, and urinary incontinence status of the two groups were compared. Results The total effective rate of treatment in the observation group was 94.12%,which was higher than 79.52%in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Before treatment, the pelvic floor muscle function, the situation of pelvic floor dysfunction, and the situation of urinary incontinence were compared between the two groups, and the differences between the groups were no statistically significant(P>0.05);after treatment, the dynamic vaginal pressure, the maximum value in the rapid contraction phase, the average value in the tense contraction phase, the average value in the endurance contraction phase, the abdominal pressure leakage point pressure, the bladder compliance, and the maximum urethral closure pressure in the observation group were all higher than those in the control group, the scores of the Pelvic Floor Distress Inventory-Short Form 20 and the scores of the international consultation on incontinence questionnaire in the observation group were both lower than those in the control group, the duration of continuous vaginal contraction was longer than that in the control group, and the differences between the groups were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The combined application of acupoint acupuncture therapy and pelvic floor muscle function training has a good effect in improving pelvic floor muscle dysfunction in postpartum patients. It can effectively strengthen the pelvic floor muscle strength of patients, restore pelvic floor function, relieve the manifestations of urinary incontinence, and has high practicability.
