Effect of Acupuncture Combined with Yeshifuming Decoction on Diabetes Retinopathy and Its Influence on Patients'Visual Acuity Level and Fundus Examination Indicators
Objective To analyze the effect of acupuncture combined with Yeshifuming Decoction in patients with diabetes retinopathy(DR).Methods Retrospective analysis of medical records of 94 DR patients admitted to Rizhao Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital from March 2022 to March 2023,divided into a control group and an experimental group according to different treatment methods,with 47 cases in each group.The control group was treated with conventional Western medicine,while the experimental group was treated with acupuncture combined with Yeshifuming Decoction on the basis of the control group,both groups received continuous treatment for 4 weeks.Compare the clinical efficacy,visual acuity level,fundus examination related indicators,and adverse reactions between two groups.Results The total effective rate of the experimental group was 93.62%,which was higher than 78.72%of the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment,the best corrected visual acuity of the experimental group was higher than that of the control group,the retinal circulation time was shorter than that of the control group,the number of microangiomas was less than that of the control group,and the areas of vascular leakage and capillary non perfusion were smaller than those of the control group,the differences between the groups were statistically significant(P<0.05).Comparison of adverse reaction rates between two groups,the difference was not statistically significant(P＞0.05).Conclusion Acupuncture combined with Yeshifuming Decoction can improve the visual acuity of DR patients,improve retinal circulation,and is safe and reliable.
