Observation on the Clinical Efficacy of Mesalazine Combined with Chinese Medicine Enema Sequential Therapy in the Treatment of Patients with Ulcerative Colitis
Objective To explore the observation on the clinical effects of the mesalazine combined with Chinese medicine enema sequential therapy in the treatment of patients with ulcerative colitis.Methods Sixty patients with ulcerative colitis who were admitted to Suzhou Wujiang District Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from March 2022 to May 2024 were selected as the research objects,according to the random number table method,they were divided into a control group and an observation group,with 30 cases in each group.The control group was treated with mesalazine combined with Western medicine enema,while the observation group was treated with the mesalazine combined with Chinese medicine enema sequential therapy.Compare the clinical efficacy,degree of disease activity and quality of life between the two groups.Results Before treatment,the degree of disease activity and quality of life of the two groups were compared,and the differences between the groups were no statistically significant(P＞0.05);after treatment,the Mayo index score in the observation group was lower than that in the control group,while the score of the Inflammatory Bowel Disease Questionnaire in the observation group was higher than that in the control group,and the differences between the groups were statistically significant(P<0.05).The total effective rate of treatment in the observation group was 96.67%,which was higher than 73.33%in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The mesalazine combined with Chinese medicine enema sequential therapy has a good clinical effect in treating patients with ulcerative colitis,it can effectively relieve their symptoms and improve the patients'quality of life.
