Effect of Vaginal Dumbbell Training Combined with Biofeedback Electrical Stimulation on Pelvic Floor Muscle Strength in Postpartum Patients with Pelvic Floor Dysfunction
Objective To investigate the effect of vaginal dumbbell training combined with biofeedback electrical stimulation on postpartum patients with pelvic floor dysfunction. Methods Seventy-eight patients with postpartum patients with pelvic floor dysfunction treated in Shouguang People's Hospital from November 2021 to November 2023 were selected as the research objects, and were divided into a control group and an observation group according to random number table method, with 39 cases in each group. The control group was treated with vaginal dumbbell training, and the observation group was treated with biofeedback electrical stimulation based on the control group.Pelvic floor muscle strength, uterine prolapse degree, urinary incontinence degree and pelvic floor function were compared between the two groups. Results After treatment, the pelvic floor muscle strength of observation group was stronger than that of control group, and the degree of uterine prolapse was better than that of control group, and the differences between the groups were statistically significant(P<0.05);international consultation on incontinence questionnaire, pelvic floor impact questionnaire-short form 7 and Pelvic Floor Distress Inventory-Short Form 20 scores of the observation group were(6.31±1.04)points,(5.62±1.52)points and(4.63±1.22)points,which were lower than(10.66±1.07)points,(7.81±1.70)points and(6.33±1.65)points of the control group, and the differences between the groups were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Vaginal dumbbell training combined with biofeedback electrical stimulation can improve the pelvic floor muscle strength, uterine prolapse and urinary incontinence of postpartum patients with pelvic floor dysfunction, and enhance their pelvic floor function.
