Effect of High-Frequency Repetitive Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation Combined with Virtual Reality Training Technique on Neurological Function in Patients with Severe Traumatic Brain Injury
Objective To investigate the effect of high-frequency repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation(hrTMS)combined with virtual reality(VR)training technique on patients with severe traumatic brain injury(sTBI).Methods A total of 92 sTBI patients admitted to the Jiyang District People's Hospital of Jinan City,Shandong Province from June 2021 to September 2023 were selected as the research objects and were divided into a control group and an observation group according to random number table method, with 46 cases in each group. The control group received routine rehabilitation training, the observation group was treated with hrTMS combined with VR training technology on the basis of the control group. The neurological function and daily living ability were compared between the two groups. Results After intervention, the Glasgow Coma Scale score of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, and the National Institute of Health Stroke Scale score was lower than that of the control group, the differences between the groups were statistically significant(P<0.05);the Barthel Index score of the observation group was(74.37±5.82)points,which was higher than(61.24±5.26)points of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion hrTMS combined with VR training technology can significantly improve neurological function and daily living ability in sTBI patients, which is worthy of clinical promotion.
