Observation on the Postoperative Rehabilitation Effect of Patients with Thoracolumbar Vertebral Compression Fractures by Core Stability Training on Unstable Support Surface Combined with Intensive Balance Training Intervention
Objective Explore the application effect of core stability training on unstable support surface combined with intensive balance training in postoperative functional rehabilitation of patients with thoracolumbar vertebral compression fractures. Methods A total of 86 patients with thoracolumbar vertebral compression fractures admitted to Xuzhou Rehabilitation Hospital from July 2022 to January 2024 were selected as the research objects, according to the random number table method, they were divided into a control group and an observation group, with 43 cases in each group. The control group received conventional rehabilitation intervention, the observation group received core stability training on unstable support surface combined with intensive balance training intervention on the basis of the control group.Compare the lumbar spine function, lumbar spine range of motion, activities of daily living, and occurrence of complications between the two groups. Results Before intervention, there was no significant difference in lumbar spine function, lumbar spine range of motion and activities of daily living between the two groups, and the differences between the groups were no statistically significant(P>0.05);after intervention, the scores of the Japanese Orthopaedie Association Score and the Barthel Index Scale in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, and the range of motion of the lumbar spine joints was greater than that in the control group, and the differences between the groups were statistically significant(P<0.05).The complication rate in the observation group was 4.65%,which was lower than 18.60%in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Core stability training on unstable support surface combined with intensive balance training can promote the recovery of lumbar spine function in patients with thoracolumbar vertebral compression fractures after surgery, improve lumbar spine range of motion and activities of daily living, and reduce the risk of complications.
