Analysis of the Effect of Respiratory Training Combined with Swallowing Dysfunction Therapy Instrument Intervention on the Improvement of Pulmonary Ventilation Function and Swallowing Function in Patients with Convalescent Stage of Cerebral Infarction
Objective Analysis of the effect of respiratory training combined with swallowing dysfunction therapy instrument intervention on the improvement of pulmonary ventilation function and swallowing function in patients with convalescent stage of cerebral infarction. Methods A total of 96 patients with convalescent stage of cerebral infarction admitted to Xingtai People's Hospital from January 2021 to August 2022 were selected as the research objects.According to the random number table method, they were divided into a control group and an observation group, with 48 cases in each group. The control group received conventional training intervention, while the observation group received respiratory training combined with swallowing dysfunction therapy instrument intervention.Compare the pulmonary ventilation function, swallowing ability and occurrence of adverse events between the two groups. Results Before intervention, the pulmonary ventilation function and swallowing ability of the two groups were compared, and the differences between the groups were no statistically significant(P>0.05);after intervention, the maximum expiratory flow, forced expiratory volume in the first second, and forced vital capacity of the observation group were all greater than those of the control group.the scores of Video fluoroscopic swallowing study and the Standardized Barium Swallow Dysfunction Evaluation Scale of the observation group were all lower than those of the control group, and the differences between the groups were statistically significant(P<0.05);the incidence of adverse events in the observation group was 4.17%,which was lower than 16.67%in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Respiratory training combined with swallowing dysfunction therapy instrument intervention can effectively improve the pulmonary ventilation function and swallowing ability of patients with convalescent stage of cerebral infarction, and can also reduce the incidence of adverse events.
