Observation on the Effect of Sensory Perception and Situational Exercise Training on the Rehabilitation of Motor Function in Children with Delayed Motor Development
Objective To explore the application effect of sensory perception and situational exercise training in the rehabilitation of motor function in children with delayed motor development. Methods A total of 78 children with motor developmental delay admitted to Tengzhou Central People's Hospital from January 2021 to January 2023 were selected as the research subjects, divided into a control group and an observation group using a random number table method, with 39 cases in each group. The control group was given conventional rehabilitation training interventions such as early exercise training and limb activity training, while the observation group was given interventions of sensory perception and situational exercise training. The motor function, developmental status, balance ability, and sensory integration ability of the two groups were compared. Results After intervention, the scores of gross motor development quotient, fine motor development quotient, intelligent development index, psychomotor development index, and Berg balance scale in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, the difference between groups were statistically significant(P<0.05);the scores of vestibular dysfunction, proprioceptive dysfunction, and excessive tactile defense in the sensory integration ability assessment scale were higher than those in the control group, the difference between groups were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Sensory perception and situational exercise training can effectively promote the recovery of motor and balance functions in children with delayed motor development.,stimulate their intellectual development, and enhance their sensory integration ability.
