Analysis of the Predictive Value of Serum sICAM-1 Combined with SII Index for Disease Activity in Patients with Rheumatoid Arthritis
Objective To analyze the predictive value of serum soluble intercellular adhesion molecule-1(serum sICAM-1)combined with systemic immune inflammation(SII)index for disease activity in patients with rheumatoid arthritis(RA).Methods A total of 102 RA patients admitted to Zhangjiagang Hospital Affiliated to Soochow University from January 2022 to February 2024 were selected as the research objects, according to disease activity score 28(DAS28)score,they were divided into a active group(n=77)and a remission group(n=25).The serum sICAM-1 and SII indexes of the two groups were compared. The Receiver Operating Characteristic(ROC)curve was drawn to calculate the predictive efficacy of serum sICAM-1 combined with SII index for disease activity in RA patients. Results The sICAM-1 and SII indexes in the active group were higher than those in the remission group, and the difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).Logistic regression analysis showed that the number of swollen joints(TJC),the number of tender joints(SJC),erythrocyte sedimentation rate(ESR),platelet count, serum sICAM-1 and SII indexes were risk factors for RA patients in the active stage and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).ROC curve showed that the Area Under the Curve(AUC)of serum sICAM-1 and SII index combined to predict disease activity in RA patients was 0.926,which was higher than 0.877 and 0.803 predicted alone. Conclusion Serum sICAM-1 combined with SII index has a high predictive value for RA disease activity, which can provide a reference for clinical treatment of RA.
