Effect of Vibration Induced Sputum Excretion Combined with High-Intensity Inspiratory Muscle Resis-tance Training on Sputum Excretion Situation and Lung Function in Patients with Bronchiectasis
Objective To explore the effect of vibration induced sputum excretion combined with high-intensity inspiratory muscle resistance training on sputum excretion situation and lung function in patients with bronchiectasis. Methods A total of 92 patients with bronchiectasis admitted to the Third People's Hospital of Jining City from April 2022 to May 2023 were selected as the research subjects, divide them into a control group and an observation group using a random number table method, with 46 cases in each group. The control group received routine intervention, while the observation group received vibration induced sputum excretion combined with high-intensity inspiratory muscle resistance training, both groups received one week of intervention.Compare the sputum excretion, lung function, respiratory muscle strength, and endurance between two groups. Results Before intervention, comparison of sputum excretion, lung function, respiratory muscle strength, and endurance between two groups, there was no statistically significant differences between groups(P>0.05);after intervention, the 24-hour sputum output of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, and the viscosity of the sputum was lower than that of the control group, the forced expiratory volume and forced vital capacity in the first second were greater than those of the control group, and the peak expiratory flow rate was faster than that of the control group, the maximal inspiratory pressure and maximum expiratory pressure were both higher than those of the control group, and the duration of continuous suction pressure was longer than that of the control group, the differences between groups were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Vibration induced sputum excretion combined with high-intensity inspiratory muscle resistance training can improve sputum excretion and lung function in patients with bronchiectasis, enhance respiratory muscle strength and endurance.
