Objective To observe the effect of comprehensive nursing intervention in the nursing of children with recurrent respiratory tract infections.Methods Selecting 100 children with recurrent respiratory tract infections admitted to Rongcheng Maternal and Child Health Hospital from December 2021 to December 2022 as the research subjects,divided into a control group and a research group using a random number table method,with 50 cases in each group.The control group received routine nursing,while the research group received comprehensive nursing intervention.The treatment compliance of the two groups was compared,and the cognition degree of disease knowledge and nursing satisfaction of their families were investigated.Results The treatment compliance of the research group was 92.00%,which was higher than the 72.00%in the control group,the difference wass statistically significant(P<0.05).The scores of parents of children in the research group on routine treatment methods,acute attack management methods,surrounding environmental hygiene,lifestyle,and appropriate exercise were higher than those in the control group,the difference between groups were statistically significant(P<0.05).The satisfaction scores of parents of patients in the research group towards nursing staff,including nursing attitude,health education,nursing skills,and nursing communication,were higher than those in the control group,the difference between groups were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The application of comprehensive nursing intervention in the nursing of children with recurrent respiratory tract infection is effective,which can effectively improve the treatment compliance of children,improve clinical symptoms,and at the same time enhance the knowledge level of parents of children,avoid the recurrence of children's illness,so as to improve the satisfaction of parents of children,which is worth popularizing.
