Effects of Relaxation Training Nursing Intervention on Anxiety and Depression and Sleep Quality in Patients with Acute Myocardial Infarction After Interventional Therapy
Objective To explore the effects of relaxation training nursing on negative emotions and sleep quality in patients with acute myocardial infarction after interventional therapy. Methods Eighty-two patients who underwent interventional therapy for acute myocardial infarction in The First Hospital of Shanxi Medical University from January 2023 to January 2024 were selected as the research subjects, they were divided into a control group and an observation group according to the random number table method, with 41 cases in each group. The control group received routine nursing intervention, and the observation group received relaxation training nursing intervention based on the control group. The negative emotions and sleep quality of the two groups were compared. Results Before intervention, there was no significant difference in Self-Rating Anxiety Scale and Self-Rating Depression Scale scores between the two groups(P>0.05);after the intervention, the scores of Self-Rating Anxiety Scale and Self-Rating Depression Scale in the observation group were(41.25±2.55)points and(45.21±3.61)points,respectively,which were lower than(48.36±3.16)points and(50.14±3.24)points in the control group, and the differences between the groups were statistically significant(P<0.05).Before intervention, there was no significant difference in scores of Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index between the two groups(P>0.05);after the intervention, the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index scores of the observation group were lower than those of the control group in all dimensions, and the difference between the groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion After interventional therapy for acute myocardial infarction patients, relaxation training nursing intervention can effectively regulate patients'negative psychological emotions, improve their sleep quality and accelerate recovery.
