Effect of Point Selection Based on Syndrome Differentiation Pharyngeal Acupuncture Combined with Breathing-Swallowing Coordination Training on Swallowing Function of Patients with Dysphagia in Cerebral Infarction
Objective To analyze the application effect of point selection based on syndrome differentiation pharyngeal acupuncture combined with breathing-swallowing coordination training in patients with dysphagia in cerebral infarction. Methods A total of 120 patients with dysphagia with cerebral infarction admitted to our hospital from April 2021 to February 2023 were selected as the research objects, and they were divided into a control group (n=60) and a study group (n=60) by sealed envelope method. The control group underwent breathing-swallowing coordination training, and the study group combined with point selection based on syndrome differentiation pharyngeal acupuncture. After 1 month of treatment, the therapeutic effect, serum albumin (ALB), prealbumin (PA) levels and Swallowing Quality of Life scale (SWAL-QOL) score of the two groups were compared. Results The total effective rate of the study group was 96.67%, which was higher than 86.67% of the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).Before treatment, there were no significant differences in the ALB and PA levels between the two groups (P>0.05);after 1 month of treatment, the levels of ALB and PA in the study group were higher than those in the control group, and the differences between the groups were statistically significant (P<0.05).Before treatment, there was no significant difference in the SWAL-QOL scores between the two groups (P>0.05);after 1 month of treatment, the SWAL-QOL scores of both groups were higher than before treatment, and the SWAL-QOL score of the study group was higher than that of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion The effect of breathing-swallowing coordination training combined with point selection based on syndrome differentiation pharyngeal acupuncture on patients with dysphagia in cerebral infarction is remarkable, which can enhance their swallowing function, improve their nutritional level, and thus improve their quality of life.
