Effects of TBS Mode Magnetic Stimulation Combined with Ideation and Imitation Behavior Training on Cognitive and Social Function in Patients with Schizophrenia
Objective To explore the effects of θ burst stimulation (TBS) mode magnetic stimulation combined with ideation and imitation behavior training on cognitive and social function in patients with schizophrenia. Methods A total of 100 patients with schizophrenia admitted to Tai'an Psychiatric Hospital from September 2022 to September 2023 were selected as the research objects, and were divided into a control group and an observation group according to random number table method, with 50 cases in each group. The control group was treated with conventional intervention, and the observation group was treated with TBS mode magnetic stimulation combined with ideation and imitation behavior training. The cognitive function, social function and mental symptoms were compared between the two groups. Results After intervention, the scores of the Mini-Mental State Examination and the Montreal Cognitive Assessment in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, and the differences between the groups were statistically significant (P<0.05).After intervention, the scores of daily living ability, mobility and communication status, and social activity skills in the Scale of Social Function in Psychosis Inpatients of the observation group were higher than those of the control group, and the differences between the groups were statistically significant (P<0.05).After intervention, the positive symptoms, negative symptoms, general pathological symptoms scores and total score in the positive and negative syndrome scale of the observation group were (16.82±2.28) points, (16.34±2.21) points, (37.82±3.26) points, (70.98±4.25) points, respectively, which were lower than (20.14±2.67) points, (19.82±2.58) points, (42.15±3.34) points and (82.11±4.89) points in the control group, and the differences between the groups were statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion TBS mode magnetic stimulation combined with ideation and imitation behavior training can improve mental symptoms and social and cognitive functions of schizophrenia patients, which is worthy of clinical application.
