Effects of Kangfuxin Liquid Combined with rb-bFGF Gel on Skin Recovery and Inflammatory Response in Patients with Radiation Dermatitis
Objective To investigate the effect of Kangfuxin Liquid combined with recombinantbovine basic fibroblast growth factor (rb-bFGF) gel on radiation dermatitis.Methods Ninety-six patients with radiation dermatitis admitted to Rongcheng People's Hospital from March 2020 to March 2023 were selected as the research objects and were divided into the control group (n=48) and the observation group (n=48) according to random number table method.The control group was treated with rb-bFGF gel, and the observation group was treated with Kangfuxin Liquid combined with rb-bFGF gel.The clinical efficacy, inflammatory response, skin recovery and the occurrence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups.Results The total effective rate of the observation group was 93.75％, which was higher than 79.17％ of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).After treatment, the levels of interleukin-6 and C-reactive protein in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, the differences between the groups were statistically significant (P<0.05).The time of symptom disappearances in the observation group were shorter than those in the control group, and the differences between the groups were statistically significant (P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups (P>0.05).Conclusion Kangfuxin Liquid combined with rb-bFGF gel is effective in the treatment of radiation dermatitis, which can reduce the inflammatory response of patients and promote skin healing with good safety.
