Effect of Iron Dextran Dispersible Tablets and Ferrous Succinate Tablets in the Treatment of Iron Deficiency Anemia During Pregnancy and Its Influence on Patients' Biochemical Indexes
Objective To investigate the effect of iron dextran dispersible tablets and ferrous succinate tablets in the treatment of iron deficiency anemia (IDA) during pregnancy and its influence on patients' biochemical indexes. Methods Three hundred patients with IDA during pregnancy admitted to the Obstetrics Clinic of Dongchangfu District Maternal and Child Health Hospital in Liaocheng City from January 2021 to December 2022 were selected as the research sobjects and were divided into a control group and an observation group according to random number table method. The control group (n=150) was treated with iron dextran dispersible tablets, and the observation group (n=150) was treated with ferrous succinate tablets. The blood routine indexes, iron metabolism indexes, clinical efficacy and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results After 6 weeks of treatment, the levels of red blood cell count, mean red blood cell volume, mean red blood cell hemoglobin, hematocrit and hemoglobin in the observation group were (4.46 ±0.63) ×1012/L, (91.70 ±8.16)fl, (31.58 ±4.63)pg, (36.20±5.20)%, (104.48±8.93)g/L, respectively, which were higher than (3.28±0.45)×1012/L, (79.63±6.92)fl, (25.94±4.10)pg, (31.78±4.16)%, (98.69±7.87)g/L in the control group, and the differences between the groups were statistically significant (P<0.05).After 6 weeks of treatment, the serum iron and serum ferritin levels in the observation group were (10.27 ±1.03)μmol/L and (19.65±3.34)μg/L, respectively, which were higher than (8.53±0.84)μmol/L and (13.40±2.05)μg/L in the control group, and the differences between the groups were statistically significant (P<0.05).The total clinical effective rate of the observation group was 96.67%, higher than 80.00%of the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).The incidence of adverse reactions in the observation group was 8.00%, higher than 2.67% in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant ( P<0.05 ).Conclusion Iron dextran dispersible tablets and ferrous succinate tablets can improve the biochemical indexes of IDA patients during pregnancy, but the latter has better effect, the former has higher safety and less side effects.
