Effects of Shenqi Jiangtang Granule Combined with Dapagliflozin on Blood Glucose Index and Renal Function Index in Patients with Diabetic Nephropathy
Objective To investigate the effect of Shenqi Jiangtang Granule combined with dapagliflozin in the treatment of diabetic nephropathy (DN).Methods A total of 62 DN patients admitted to Feicheng People's Hospital of Shandong Province from January 2020 to January 2023 were selected as the sresearch subjects, and were randomly divided into a control group and an observation group aceording total random numbe table method, with 31 cases in each group.The control group was treated with dapagliflozin, and the observation group was treated with Shenqi Jiangtang Granules on this basis.Both groups were treated for 8 weeks.The clinical efficacy, blood glucose indexes, renal function indexes, TCM syndrome scores and the occurrence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups.Results The total effective rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).After treatment, the levels of hemoglobin A1c, fasting plasma glucose and 2 h postprandial blood glucose in the observation group were (5.48 ±1.01)％, (5.57±1.02)mmol/L and (9.13±1.16)mmol/L, respectively, which were lower than (6.72±1.05)％, (6.72±1.09)mmol/L and (10.24±1.22)mmol/L in the control group, and the differences between the groups were statistically significant (P<0.05).After treatment, the levels of serum creatinine, blood urea nitrogen and 24 h urinary protein in the observation group were (35.82±3.79)μmol/L, (6.02±1.04)mmol/L and (0.75±0.12)g, respectively, which were lower than (40.53±4.12)μmol/L, (7.71± 1.15)mmol/L and (0.93±0.14)g in the control group, and the differences between the groups were statistically significant (P<0.05).After treatment, the scores of fatigue, shortness of breath and lazy speech, waist and knee weakness, dysphoria in chestpalms-soles scores were (0.78±0.12) points, (0.75±0.11) points, (0.69±0.11) points, (0.64±0.09) points, respectively, which were lower than (0.95±0.15) points, (0.89±0.13) points, (0.82±0.12) points, (0.78±0.12) points in the control group, and the differences between the groups were statistically significant (P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups (P>0.05).Conclusion Shenqi Jiangtang Granule combined with dapagliflozin can improve the therapeutic effect of patients with DN, reduce the levels of blood glucose indexes and alleviate the damage of renal function, which is safe and reliable.
