Efficacy and Safety of Amiodarone Combined with Metoprolol in the Treatment of Tachyarrhythmia
Objective To explore the efficacy and safety of amiodarone combined with metoprolol in the treatment of tachyarrhythmia. Methods A total of 82 patients with tachyarrhythmia admitted to Shandong Tai'an Rongjun Hospital from March 2020 to March 2023 were selected as the research objects and were divided into the control group (n=41) and the observation group (n=41) according to random number table method. The control group was treated with amiodarone, and the observation group was treated with metoprolol. The clinical efficacy, arrhythmia indexes, heart rate, blood pressure levels and drug safety were compared between the two groups. Results The total effective rate of the observation group was 85.37%, higher than 65.85%of the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).The normal time of arrhythmia in the observation group was shorter than that in the control group, and the total number of premature ventricular beats was less than that in the control group, the differences between the groups were statistically significant (P<0.05).After treatment, the heart rate, systolic blood pressure and diastolic blood pressure in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, and the differences between the groups were statistically significant (P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse events between the two groups (P>0.05).Conclusion Amiodarone combined with metoprolol is effective in the treatment of tachyarrhythmia. It can improve patients' cardiac function, regulate their heart rate and blood pressure, and has high drug safety.
