Application Value of Audio-Visual Integration Training Combined with Game-Assisted Language Training in the Rehabilitation of Children with Delayed Language Development
Objective To explore the effect of audio-visual integration training combined with game-assisted language training in the rehabilitation of children with delayed language development. Methods A total of 82 children with delayed language development admitted to Shen County People's Hospital from August 2021 to March 2023 were selected as the study objects and were divided into a control group and an observation group according to random number table method, with 41 cases in each group. The control group received routine training, and the observation group received audio-visual integration training combined with game-assisted language training on this basis. Both groups continued training for 4 months. The sensory integration ability, oral motor function, articulation ability and language ability were compared between the two groups. Results After intervention, the scores of sensory integration scale in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, and the differences between the groups were statistically significant (P<0.05).After intervention, the oral motor function and articulation ability scores of the observation group were higher than those of the control group, and the differences between the groups were statistically significant (P<0.05).After the intervention, the scores of the sign-significate relations method and verbal behavior assessment scale in the observation group were (84.31±3.29) points and (45.37±4.20) points, respectively, which were higher than (75.63 ±4.24) points and (37.59 ±5.15) points in the control group, and the differences between the groups were statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion Audio-Visual integration training combined with game-assisted language training can promote the development of children with delayed language development, improve their oral motor function and articulation ability, and improve their language ability, which has clinical value.
