Effect of Orem Self-Care Intervention Combined with Multimodal Pain Management on Health Knowledge Awareness and Pain Degree in Patients with Acute Traumatic Fractures
Objective To explore the effect of Orem self-care intervention combined with multimodal pain management on the health knowledge awareness and pain degree of patients with acute traumatic fractures. Methods A total of 72 patients with acute traumatic fractures admitted to Binzhou Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from June 2020 to June 2023 were selected as the research objects.According to the random number table method, they were divided into a control group and an observation group, with 36 cases in each group. The control group was given routine nursing, and the observation group was given Orem self-care intervention combined with multimodeal pain management. All the patients were evaluated after 3 months of nursing. The awareness of health knowldge, pain degree and complications were compared between the two groups. Results The awareness rate of health knowledge in the observation group was higher than that in the control group, and the visual analogue scale score of pain 48 hours after operation was lower than that in the control group , and the differences between the groups were statistically significant ( P<0.05 ).The incidence of complications in the observation group was lower than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion Orem self-care intervention combined with multi-mode pain management can relieve the pain of patients with acute traumatic fracture, improve the awareness rate of health knowledge, and reduce the incidence of complications.
