Impact of Family Centered Continuing Nursing Support Combined with Diary Style Psychological Education on Emotions, Shame and Quality of Life of Patients with Bipolar Disorder
Objective To explore the effects of family centered continuing nursing support combined with diary style psychological education on emotions, shame and quality of life of patients with bipolar disorder (BD).Methods A total of 87 BD patients admitted to the Psychiatric Department of Tai'an Psychiatric Hospital from October 2021 to September 2023 were selected as the study objects, and were divided into a control group and an observation group according to random number table method.The control group (n=44) was treated with routine nursing intervention, and the observation group (n=43) was treated with family centered continuous nursing support combined with diary psychological education.Both groups continued the intervention for 3 months.The emotional state, stigma and quality of life of the two groups were compared.Results Before intervention, there were no significant differences in emotional state, stigma and quality of life between the two groups (P>0.05);after intervention, the scores of the Hamilton Anxiety Scale, Hamilton Depression Scale and Link Stigma Scale in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, and the scores of the World Health Organization quality of life scale was (320.77±29.14) points, higher than (286.01±26.75) points in the control group, the differences between the groups were statistical significant (P<0.05).Conclusion The implementation of family centered continuing nursing support combined with diary style psychological education has a significant effect on BD patients, which can regulate their psychological state, reduce negative emotions and shame, and improve their quality of life.
