Analysis of the Specific Effects of Plasmakinetic Resection of the Prostale in the Clinical Treatment of Patients with Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia
Objective To analyze the efficacy of plasmakinetic resection of the prostate(PKRP)in patients with benign prostatic hyperplasia(BPH).Methods A total of 82 BPH patients admitted to Dongchangfu District Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Liaocheng City from July 2021 to July 2023 were selected as the study objects. They were divided into a control group and an observation group according to random number table method, with 41 cases each. The control group underwent transurethral resection of prostate(TURP),and the observation group underwent PKRP.The perioperative indexes, severity of symptoms, erectile function, urodynamics and complications were compared between the two groups. Results The intraoperative blood loss in the observation group was(284.46±20.31)mL,less than(345.75±23.97)mL in the control group, the operative time was(65.41±6.21)min,the catheter indwelling time was(5.20±1.38)d,and the hospital stay was(8.20±1.46)d,which were shorter than(76.95±8.76)min,(6.31±1.59)d,(10.97±1.83)d of the control group, and the complication rate was 4.88%,which was lower than 21.95%of the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Three months after operation, the international prostate symptom score of the observation group was(7.59±1.35)points,which was lower than(10.61±1.87)points of the control group, and the international erectile function index-5 score was(18.40±1.36)points,the bladder compliance was(26.31±2.87)mL/cmH2O,and the maximum urethral closure pressure was(43.68±4.33)cmH2O,which were higher than(15.31±1.08)points,(20.48±2.36)mL/cmH2O,(37.54±3.71)cmH2O of the control group, the maximum urine flow rate was(19.83±3.20)mL/s,which was faster than(15.41±2.39)mL/s of the control group, and the residual urine volume was(31.34±4.37)mL,which was lower than(38.63±5.25)mL of the control group, with statistical significance(P<0.05).Conclusion PKRP has the advantages of minimal damage and fast postoperative recovery, which can alleviate symptoms in BPH patients, cause minimal damage to their erectile function, improve their urodynamics, and have fewer complications.
