Clinical Efficacy of Letrozole Combined with Dydrogesterone in the Treatment of Endometriosis and Its Influence on Serum Related Indexes
Objective To investigate the effect of letrozole combined with dydrogesterone on patients with endometriosis(EMT).Methods A total of 80 patients with EMT admitted to the Second People's Hospital of Chiping District of Liaocheng City from October 2020 to November 2023 were selected as the research objects, and they were divided into a control group and an observation group by the random number table method, with 40 cases in each group. The control group was treated with dydrogesterone, and the observation group was treated with letrozole on this basis, both groups were treated fors months, the clinical efficacy, serum sex hormone levels, carbohydrate antigen 125(CA125)and vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF)levels, and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results The total effective rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment, the levels of progesterone and estradiol in the two groups were lower than those before treatment, and those in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05);the levels of CA125 and VEGF in the two groups were lower than those before treatment, and those in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05);there were no significant differences in the incidence of breast pain, diarrhea, hot flashes and weight gain between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion Letrozole combined with dydrogesterone in the treatment of EMT patients can improve the clinical efficacy, effectively regulate the levels of serum sex hormones,CA125 and VEGF,with fewer adverse reactions and good safety.
