The Application Effect of Cosmetic Suture Technology and Debridement Suture Technology in Emergency Patients with Facial Trauma
Objective To investigate the application effect of aesthetic suture and debridement suture in emergency patients with facial trauma. Methods A total of 72 emergency patients with facial trauma admitted to Jinxiang County People's Hospital of Jining City from January 2020 to October 2023 were selected as the study objects and divided into a control group and an observation group according to random number table method, with 36 cases in each group. The control group underwent debridement and suture, and the observation group underwent cosmetic suture.Operation, pain score, scar appearance, psychological state and quality of life were compared between the two groups. Results The observation group had longer surgical time, shorter scar length, shorter incision healing and edema duration than the control group, the differences between the groups were statistically significant(P<0.05).At 6 and 24 hours after surgery, the pain visual simulation score of the observation group were lower than that of the control group, the differences between the groups were statistically significant(P<0.05).The Scar Beauty Assessment Scale scores of the observation group were lower than those of the control group at 1 and 3 months after surgery, and the scores of the Anxiety Self-Assessment Scale and Depression Self-Assessment Scale were lower than those of the control group at 3 months after surgery, with statistically significant differences between the groups(P<0.05).The quality of life score of the observation group was higher than that of the control group at 3 months after surgery, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Aesthetic suture technique is more effective in the treatment of facial trauma, which can reduce postoperative pain score, shorten the length of scar, better improve the psychological state of patients and improve the quality of life.
