Effect of Supporting Laryngoscope Combined with Nasal Endoscopic Surgery on Patients with Vocal Cord Polyps
Objective To analyze the effect of supporting laryngoscope combined with nasal endoscopic surgery on patients with vocal cord polyps.Methods A total of 74 patients with vocal cord polyps admitted to Jinxiang People's Hospital from April 2021 to April 2023 were selected as the research objects.According to the random number table method,they were divided into a control group and an observation group,with 37 cases in each group.The control group was treated with supporting laryngoscope surgery,and the observation group was treated with supporting laryngoscope combined with nasal endoscopic surgery.The clinical efficacy,voice function,quality of life,complications and recurrence rate were compared between the two groups.Results The total effective rate of the observation group was 94.59%,which was higher than 78.38%of the control group,the incidence of complications was 5.41%,the recurrence rate was 5.41%,which were lower than 24.32%,21.62%of the control group,the differences were statistically significant(P＜0.05).The harmonic noise ratio of the observation group was(25.98±3.84)db,and the scores of each dimension in the General Quality of Life Inventory were(76.64±4.89)points,(79.96±4.25)points,(81.25±3.67)points and(79.96±4.97)points,respectively,which were greater than(21.57±3.49)db,(67.53±4.15)points,(71.35±3.47)points,(70.54±3.15)points,(72.34±4.68)points of the control group,the Normalized Noise Energy was(-12.58±2.04)db,the fundamental frequency perturbation was(0.25±0.02)%,and the amplitude perturbation was(1.53±0.17)%in the observation,which were lower than(-9.72±1.35)db,(0.32±0.05)%,(2.36±0.28)%of the control group,the differences between the two groups were statistically significant(P＜0.05).Conclusion Support laryngoscope combined with nasal endoscopic surgery can improve the voice function of patients with vocal cord polyps,improve the quality of life,and reduce the risk of complications and recurrence.
