Effect of Huoxue Zhitong Decoction Combined with Manual Reduction Treatment on Pain Degree and Wrist Joint Range of Motion in Patients with Distal Radius Fractures
Objective To analyze the effect of Huoxue Zhitong Decoction combined with manual reduction in the treatment of distal radius fracture(DRF).Methods A total of 86 patients with DRF admitted to Mudan People's Hospital of Heze City from May 2021 to May 2023 were selected as the research objects and were divided into a control group and an observation group according to random number table method,with 43 cases in each group.The control group received manual reduction,and the observation group received Huoxue Zhitong Decoction on this basis of the control group.The clinical efficacy,recovery,pain degree,wrist range of motion and complications were compared between the two groups.Results The total excellent and good rate of the observation group was 95.35%,which was higher than 81.40%of the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).The pain relief time,swelling relief time and fracture healing time in the observation group were(8.30±1.22)d,(7.15±1.09)d and(10.11±1.24)weeks,respectively,which were shorter than(10.63±1.59)d,(9.78±1.68)d and(11.35±1.76)weeks in the control group,the differences between the groups were statistically significant(P＜0.05).The incidence of complications in the observation group was 6.98%,lower than 23.26%in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).After treatment,the pain visual analogue score of the observation group was(1.36±0.35)points,which was lower than(2.24±0.58)points of the control group,while the wrist dorsal extension,palmar flexion,pronation and supination were(53.82±3.84)°,(54.60±3.58)°,(81.58±5.33)°,(82.68±4.49)°,respectively,which were greater than(45.68±3.20)°,(46.54±2.96)°,(75.69±4.37)°,(74.57±3.84)° in the control group,and the differences between the groups were statistically significant(P＜0.05).Conclusion Huoxue Zhitong Decoction combined with manual reduction can relieve the pain of DRF patients,improve the range of motion of the wrist,and have fewer complications,which is worthy of clinical promotion.
