Effect of Bushen Tiaojing Decoction Combined with Western Medicine on Infertility Patients with Polycystic Ovary Syndrome
Objective To analyze the effect of Bushen Tiaojing Decoction combined with western medicine on infertility patients with polycystic ovary syndrome(PCOS).Methods A total of 112 patients with PCOS who were treated in our hospital from July 2022 to June 2023 were selected as the research objects and divided into a Chinese and western combination group(n=56)and a western medicine group(n=56)according to random number table method.The western medicine group received western medicine treatment,while the Chinese and western combination group was treated with Bushen Tiaojing Decoction on the basis of the western medicine group.Cervical mucus function score,endo metrial thickness,sex hormone[follicle-stimulating hormone(FSH),luteinizing hormone(LH),estradiol(E2)]levels and insulin resistance index were compared between the two groups.Results After treatment,the cervical mucus function score of the Chinese and western combination group was higher than that of the western group,the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05);the endometrium thickness of the Chinese and western combination group was higher than that of the western group,the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05);LH,FSH,E2 and insulin resistance index in the Chinese and western combination group were lower than those in the western group,the differences were statistically significant between the two group(P＜0.05).Conclusion Bushen Tiaojing Decoction combined with western medicine can improve cervical mucus function,increase endometrial thickness,regulate sex hormone level and alleviate insulin resistance in PCOS infertility patients.
