Effect of Acupuncture Combined with Rehabilitation Training on Lumbar Function in Patients with Lumbar Disc Herniation
Objective To explore the effect of acupuncture combined with rehabilitation training on lumbar function in patients with lumbar disc herniation(LDH).Methods A total of 94 LDH patients admitted to the hospital from January to October 2023 were selected as the research subjects, using a random number table method, they were divided into a control group and an observation group, with 47 cases in each group. The control group was treated with routine rehabilitation training, while the observation group was treated with acupuncture on the basis of the control group.Compare the pain degree,Lumbar function, lumbar range of motion, and clinical efficacy between two groups. Results The total effective rate of the observation group was 97.87%,which was higher than the 85.11%of the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After 4 weeks of treatment, the Visual Analog Scale score of the observation group was lower than that of the control group, the Japanese Orthopaedic Association score was higher than that of the control group, and the flexion and extension range of motion were both greater than those of the control group, the differences between groups were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The application of acupuncture combined with rehabilitation training in patients with LDH can improve the effect of rehabilitation treatment, promote the improvement of pain degree and lumbar function, and enhance the range of lumbar activity.
