Observation of the Effects of Biofeedback Electrical Stimulation Combined with Kegel Training on Urinary Diary Indicators and Pelvic Floor Muscle Strength in Menopausal Women with Stress Urinary Incontinence
Objective To explore the specific effects of biofeedback electrical stimulation combined with Kegel training on menopausal women with stress urinary incontinence(SUI).Methods A total of 70 menopausal female SUI patients admitted to Qufu People's Hospital from June 2020 to October 2023 were selected as the research objects, and were divided into a control group and an observation group according to random number table method, with 35 cases in each group. The control group received Kegel training, and the observation group received biofeedback electrical stimulation on the basis of the control group. Both groups received continuous treatment for 8 weeks.Urinary diary index, pelvic floor muscle strength, urinary incontinence degree and urinary dynamics index were compared between the two groups. Results After treatment, the total number of urination in the observation group was(26.38±6.02)times/3 d,and the total number of urine leakage was(11.20±4.61)times/3 d,both lower than that in the control group, and the maximum urine output was(224.39±47.32)mL,both higher than that in the control group, with statistical significance(P<0.05);the muscle strength of class Ⅰ muscle fibers in observation group was(4.81±1.29)grade and class Ⅱ muscle fibers was(3.60±1.07)grade,both of which were higher than those of control group, and the differences between groups were statistically significant(P<0.05);the score of the incontinence questionnaire of the International Urinary Incontinence Advisory Committee in the observation group was(5.74±1.02)points,which was lower than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The use of biofeedback electrical stimulation combined with Kegel training in menopausal female SUI patients can effectively enhance pelvic floor muscle strength, reduce the frequency of urination and leakage, help alleviate urinary incontinence, and accelerate disease recovery.
